TOA Global Pty in the Philippines is recruiting a Junior Accountant focused on Australian workstreams to support Australian partners. You will prepare individual returns, assist with BAS and IAS, and learn compliance under seasoned professionals.

This role emphasizes bank reconciliations, precise account coding, simple workpapers, and collaboration with international stakeholders, ensuring timely, accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of mandatory experience in an Australian accounting firm or public practice.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of preparing individual returns and basic compliance.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with international stakeholders and maintain attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of individual and sole trader tax returns under mentorship; assist with BAS and IAS.
• Manage bank reconciliations, account coding, and complete simple workpapers.
• Collaborate with managers to deliver accurate results across a diverse client portfolio.
• Follow firm processes with surgical precision to ensure integrity of financial statements.
• Support growth by handling increasingly complex compliance tasks.
