Job summary

VAP is seeking an experienced Australian Paraplanner to join a small, collaborative team in an office-based role in Cebu. You’ll work closely with advisers and fellow paraplanners to prepare accurate advice documents and develop your skills through face-to-face collaboration.

The ideal candidate has paraplanning experience in an Australian financial planning business, strong attention to detail, and proficiency in Xplan.

Qualifications

• Previous paraplanning experience in Australian financial planning.
• Proficiency in Xplan and familiarity with other financial planning software.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, high quality advice documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
• Willingness to learn, ask questions, share knowledge, and develop with the team.
• Open to working onsite in Cebu Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and well-structured advice documentation for Australian financial planning clients.
• Support advisers with paraplanning and advice preparation requirements.
• Use Xplan and other financial planning systems to manage client and advice information.
• Review information and documentation for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Manage multiple paraplanning tasks and deadlines effectively.
• Work closely with advisers and team members to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
• Communicate throughout the day with the team to keep work progressing smoothly.
• Identify potential issues or missing information and raise them promptly.
• Follow established processes while contributing to continuous learning and improvement.
• Support the wider team with paraplanning tasks as required.
