About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Australian Paraplanner to join a small, collaborative team in an office-based role. You’ll work closely with advisers and fellow paraplanners, contributing to accurate advice documents while having the opportunity to ask questions, share knowledge, and develop your skills through regular face-to-face collaboration.
Ideal Candidate (Must Have Requirements)
- Previous experience as a Paraplanner supporting an Australian financial planning business.
- Proficiency in Xplan and familiarity with other financial planning software.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate, high quality advice documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working independently while also actively contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Willingness to learn, ask questions, share knowledge, and develop alongside the team.
- A team oriented mindset and commitment to building a long term career with the business.
- Comfortable working primarily from the office and participating in regular face to face collaboration with advisers and colleagues.
- Open to working onsite in our Cebu Office
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and well-structured advice documentation for Australian financial planning clients.
- Support advisers with paraplanning and advice preparation requirements.
- Use Xplan and other financial planning systems to manage and prepare client and advice information.
- Review information and documentation for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Manage multiple paraplanning tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Work closely with advisers and team members to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
- Communicate throughout the day with the team to keep work progressing smoothly.
- Identify potential issues or missing information and raise them promptly.
- Follow established processes while contributing to continuous learning and improvement.
- Support the wider team with paraplanning tasks as required.
