Qualifications

• 4+ years accounting and taxationExperience in Australian firm/public practice
• 2+ years leading Australian tax or accounting team
• BA/BS in Accounting/Commerce/Business (Accounting major)
• CA/CPA or equivalent
• Experience preparing Australian tax returns and financial statements
• Strong Australian tax knowledge incl. CGT, Division 7A, FBT, GST
• Ability to coach and develop accounting professionals

Responsibilities

• Review Australian income tax returns for individuals, companies, partnerships, and trusts.
• Develop and present advanced tax planning strategies for clients.
• Prepare financial statements per current statutory and reporting requirements.
• Investigate complex accounting matters and provide sound resolutions.
• Review workpapers for completeness and accuracy.
• Provide insights and recommendations from management reports.
