Emapta is seeking an Assistant Accountant ANZ to strengthen financial operations across a global healthcare business. You will handle AP to month-end reporting, building ANZ finance expertise from the Philippines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from a recognized university.
• 3–5 years of experience in accounting or similar finance roles.
• At least 2 years in a multinational organization.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, reconciliations, and transactional processes.
• Experience in Accounts Payable management.
• Experience with journals, accruals, prepayments, reconciliations, and month-end reporting.
• 2 years hands-on experience with a recognized accounting ERP.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• CPA certification preferred but not required.
• Experience with JIWA ERP, NetSuite ERP, Phocas BI desirable.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end Accounts Payable for the Australian business.
• Process invoices accurately and on time in the ERP.
• Review statements, reconcile balances, and manage supplier queries.
• Prepare weekly and ad hoc payments per policy.
• Manage month-end close: journals, accruals, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Assist with bank reconciliations and balance sheet schedules.
