Job summary

Aprio, a Top 20 CPA and advisory firm, is seeking an auditor with 2-3 years of experience to perform audits, prepare work papers, and analyze financial statements. The role emphasizes collaboration with clients and team members while meeting tight deadlines.

The candidate should have a 4-year accounting degree, strong US GAAP/GAAS knowledge, and solid analytical and Excel skills. Hybrid work options are available for selected roles and locations.

Qualifications

• 4-year bachelor’s degree in accounting is required.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in an auditor position.
• Profound knowledge of auditing and accounting literature US GAAP & GAAS.
• Variance analysis and account reconciliations; assess risks to plan auditing procedures.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with accounting/auditing software e.g., CaseWare.
• Highly detail-oriented and organized; able to meet deadlines.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Skillfully and accurately performing audits.
• Preparing audit work papers and adjusting trial balances.
• Analyzing and compiling financial statements into a written report for clients and coworkers.
• Continuously fostering relationships with coworkers and clients.
