Job summary

Cobden & Carter International is seeking a finance professional responsible for end-to-end financial audit, accounts reconciliation, and process documentation. You will coordinate internal and external audits, oversee bank reconciliations, and maintain journal entries.

The role requires a BS in Accountancy, CPA, and 3–5 years’ experience in non-life insurance or similar fields. Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Sunsystem advantage in a hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Accountancy required.
• Certified Public Accountant certification required.
• 3–5 years of professional experience, preferably in non-life insurance or similar role.
• Advanced Excel; knowledge of Word and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of Sunsystem is a plus; insurance domain knowledge beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead timely and accurate Audited Financial Statements.
• Drive overall financial audit process with internal and external stakeholders.
• Oversee bank reconciliation to ensure timely, accurate prep.
• Coordinate accounts reconciliation and report submission from owners.
• Maintain and document process flows, guidelines, standards and procedures.
• Prepare accurate journal entries.
• Maintain Sunsystem and XM; set up forex in Sunsystem and Policy Administration.
• Participate in system migration and system enhancements.
