Job summary

Home Credit Philippines is seeking an Accountant (Reconciliation) to own bank account reconciliations, investigate issues with disbursement channels, and communicate findings to counterparts. You will monitor and resolve reconciling items, and mentor junior team members while leading process improvements.

The role requires strong MS Excel skills and analytical thinking, plus experience coaching teammates and presenting findings to stakeholders. Hybrid work setup is offered.

Qualifications

• At least 2-4 years of working experience in accounting role.
• Actual experience in balancesheet reconciliation or bank reconciliation.
• Experience in training or coaching team members.
• Proficient in MS Excel (with actual experience in Pivot, Vlookup, Sumif, etc).
• Strong experience in dynamic product management role and delivering finely tuned product marketing strategies.
• Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
• Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
• Computer literacy (MS Office especially Excel, PPT, Outlook and Teams).

Responsibilities

• Ownership of assigned bank account reconciliation.
• Investigates and communicates issues identified with other departments and disbursement channels.
• Monitors and resolves reconciling items.
• Effectively collaborate to solve complex reconciling items.
• Checks reconciliation reports.
• Participate in company projects (those affecting bank accounts or money flows).
• Lead team projects related to reconciliation and process improvements.
• Trains/mentors junior team members.
• Use best practices and knowledge to recommend and implement effective process improvements.
