Job summary

People Matter PH in Makati is seeking an experienced external audit professional to manage engagements for local and international clients. You will oversee the full audit cycle from planning to completion, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with applicable standards.

The role emphasizes leading and developing junior staff, coordinating with clients, Managers, and Partners, and identifying audit risks through substantive testing and analytical procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or related discipline.
• CPA certification is an advantage.
• Minimum four years of external audit experience.
• Experience supervising audit teams and managing engagements.
• Strong knowledge of PFRS, IFRS, and auditing standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage external audit engagements for local and international clients from planning to completion.
• Review audit documentation and engagement outputs for accuracy and quality.
• Lead and develop junior audit team members with coaching and feedback.
• Collaborate with clients, Managers, and Partners to discuss audit matters and resolve issues.
• Evaluate audit risks and perform substantive testing, controls testing, and analytical procedures.
