Job summary

Our Clients in Makati City seeks an experienced Audit Assistant Manager with a strong background in external audit to oversee audit engagements and support the development of the audit team.

This position welcomes CPA and Non-CPA candidates to advance their careers while gaining exposure to more complex engagements, team leadership, and potentially international accounts. On-site, Monday to Friday, with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy required or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of external audit experience.
• CPA license is a plus but not required.
• Experience with accounting firms or professional services preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting and auditing standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to supervise and mentor audit staff.
• Willingness to handle potentially international audit engagements.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned external audit engagements from planning to completion.
• Review audit procedures, working papers, and financial statements.
• Ensure audit work is completed accurately and within established deadlines.
• Supervise and mentor audit associates and provide guidance on technical matters.
• Evaluate audit risks and determine appropriate audit procedures.
• Review findings and communicate significant issues to engagement leaders.
• Coordinate with clients regarding audit requirements, schedules, and outstanding matters.
• Monitor team performance and engagement progress.
• Assist in resolving complex accounting and auditing issues.
• Maintain compliance with professional auditing standards and quality requirements.
