Job summary

Shore360, a 100% Australian-owned BPO based in the Philippines, is seeking a Management Accountant (Dayshift, onsite) to support the Auto/Automotive division with P&L, budgeting, and cost analysis. The role involves financial modelling, pricing updates, and collaboration with operations and sales teams.

The successful candidate will have at least 5 years in management accounting within manufacturing, strong Excel skills, and experience with Prophix or similar FP&A tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of management accounting experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong experience in standard costing, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Experience with P&L reporting, variance analysis, and financial reconciliations.
• Experience with manufacturing costing and commercial finance.
• Experience supporting operational and sales teams with financial analysis and decision support.

Responsibilities

• Maintain weekly P&L outlooks for the Auto/Automotive division and investigate variances.
• Update sales forecasts and maintain sales and margin reports by business unit.
• Provide Sales Managers with weekly data for operational reporting.
• Prepare monthly P&L reports by business unit.
• Review variances and prepare journals, accruals, and adjustments.
• Complete reconciliations to the General Ledger for P&L, Balance Sheet, Sales, and Margin.
• Prepare management packs and corporate reporting requirements.
• Maintain sales data within Prophix.

Roles and Responsibilities

Divisional Performance & Reporting

• Maintain weekly P&L outlooks for the Auto/Automotive division and investigate significant variances.
• Update sales forecasts and maintain sales and margin reports by business unit.
• Provide Sales Managers with weekly data for operational reporting.
• Prepare monthly P&L reports by business unit.
• Review variances and prepare journals, accruals, and agreed adjustments.
• Complete reconciliations to the General Ledger for P&L, Balance Sheet, Sales, and Margin.
• Prepare management packs and corporate reporting requirements.
• Maintain sales data within Prophix.

Budgeting, Costing & Forecasting

• Review standard costs for business units and recommend updates.
• Prepare and maintain transfer prices for internal supply.
• Assess the impact of standard cost and transfer pricing changes on business unit margins.
• Update supplier and customer pricing and standard costs as required.
• Perform resin price sensitivity analysis.
• Update rolling quarterly budgets in line with corporate and group requirements.

Business Partnering & Decision Support

• Provide finance support to operations managers and the Auto/Automotive division.
• Perform inventory health analysis and prepare related reports.
• Support the Sales team with price list uploads and changes.
• Assist with costing and pricing of new and proposed products through financial modelling and analysis.
• Support Corporate Finance with requirements relating to CapEx, tax, and other financial matters.
• Respond to ad-hoc management accounting requests from internal and external stakeholders.

Process Improvement & Projects

• Maintain procedures for management accounting processes.
• Support divisional projects and business initiatives.
• Assist with system improvements and new software rollouts.
• Identify and follow up on opportunities to address issues and improve financial processes.

Required Experience

• Minimum 5 years of management accounting experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong experience in standard costing, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Experience with P&L reporting, variance analysis, and financial reconciliations.
• Experience with manufacturing costing and commercial finance.
• Experience supporting operational and sales teams with financial analysis and decision support.
