Job summary

Twoconnect Careers is seeking an experienced AU Bookkeeper (Xero) to support a growing finance function. The role focuses on accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, invoicing, payment processing, and month-end activities, with hands-on Xero expertise for Australian operations.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of bookkeeping experience, strong Australian tax knowledge, and is comfortable working from home on international projects using Xero, Odoo, and Monday.com.

Qualifications

• :Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field preferred.
• :Minimum 5 years of bookkeeping experience in financial operations.
• : Experience supporting Australian invoicing, GST, ABN, BAS and supplier payments.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable: supplier invoices, PO verification, approvals and coding.
• Enter invoices into Xero with correct tax treatment and documentation.
• Process weekly supplier payments and reimbursements; verify remittance info.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage Accounts Receivable: issue invoices, apply payments, assist collections.
• Daily and monthly bank reconciliations; investigate discrepancies.
• Maintain AP/AR ledgers and update statuses in Monday.com.
• Assist month-end close and related reporting.
• Support data integrity between Xero, Odoo and Monday.com.
