As our AU Accountant, you’ll serve as a subject matter expert in Australian bookkeeping and accounting, supporting either a dedicated client or multiple clients within a shared service environment. You’ll manage end-to-end accounting processes, support client transitions, and complete advanced accounting tasks with accuracy, ownership, and care.
Own the Accounting Cycle: Manage end-to-end Australian bookkeeping and accounting processes, including AP/AR, payroll, reconciliations, month-end activities, and financial reporting.
Keep Reporting Accurate: Prepare financial statements and ensure outputs meet client reporting and compliance requirements.
Reconcile with Precision: Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations while maintaining complete, accurate, and audit-ready records.
Clean Up the Details: Handle client account clean-ups, investigate discrepancies, and resolve issues with practical, timely solutions.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in Australian accounting or bookkeeping.
Strong knowledge of end-to-end accounting processes and Australian compliance requirements.
Experience using Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office tools.
High attention to detail, with strong accuracy and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage workload, meet deadlines, and work with minimal supervision.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
