Job description

The Management Accountant is responsible for preparing financial information and reports to support management in strategic planning, budgeting, and decision-making. This role involves analysing financial performance, preparing detailed budgets and forecasts, and providing insights to drive business growth and efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a thorough understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to communicate financial information effectively.

The responsibilities of this position will be:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports with accurate and timely reporting of financial data to senior management.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop, coordinate, and monitor annual budgets and forecasts. Includes variance analysis and adjustment recommendations.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to support business decision-making with insights on cost control, revenue enhancement, and profit improvement.
• Cost Management: Monitor and manage company costs and expenditures and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
• Performance Measurement: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess business performance.
• Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices in financial management to streamline financial reporting and analysis processes to enhance efficiency.
• Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards. Assist in internal and external audits as required.
• Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data and support business initiatives.

Support the Manager in all aspects of business operations.

Education & Experience Prerequisites

• A University degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• Professional accounting qualification Ex: CPA/CA preferred
• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in management accounting in multinational companies
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools like Outlook, advanced Excel knowledge
