Job summary

Asian Development Bank (ADB) seeks an Associate Treasury Officer to join the Treasury Quantitative Analysis Unit (TDOT-QAU) in Manila. The role focuses on IT systems development, financial projection modelling, and data-driven treasury insights to support operations and strategic initiatives.

The incumbent will develop and maintain treasury applications, build financial models, and deliver BI dashboard reports while collaborating on IT security, business continuity, and other core projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, banking, finance or related field.
• At least 5 years IT work experience in international banking operations, practices, and systems implementation; exposure to investment or borrowing operations.
• Experience with relational database, such as Oracle and SQL Server, Microsoft ODBC, and Microsoft ActiveX Data Object.
• Experience of treasury core applications at functional levels.
• Sound knowledge of treasury operations covering areas such as financial markets, pricing of derivative instruments, market data, and trade life cycle.
• Written and verbal proficiency in English.
• Refer to ADB Competency Framework for TL4.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Treasury applications to support business operations and strategic initiatives, including system integrations.
• Provide end-to-end product lifecycle support for Treasury Department systems, including requirements analysis, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and production support, STP, and credit limits.
• Collaborate with other team members to understand how automation can improve workflow and propose ideas and solutions.
• Contribute to ADB-wide projects such as business continuity, IT Security, and other IT projects.
• Develop financial models covering debt allocation, transfer pricing, cost of carry, liability management, and investment portfolio performance.
• Develop Asset and Liability Management dashboard reports using business intelligence reporting tools.
• Support in the model validation tests covering data, assumptions, and algorithm.
• Support in the preparation of the functional specifications for systems development.
