Job summary

Asian Development Bank in Manila seeks an Associate Treasury Officer to provide analytical, programming, and BI reporting support for treasury applications, enabling system enhancements and reliable IT deployment. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, banking, finance or related field.
• At least 5 years IT work experience in international banking operations, practices, and systems implementation; exposure to investment or borrowing operations.
• Experience with relational databases such as Oracle and SQL Server; Microsoft ODBC and ADO.
• Experience in C++ or C# and Python.
• Knowledge of treasury core applications and financial markets.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Treasury applications to support business operations and strategic initiatives, including system integrations.
• Provide end-to-end product lifecycle support for Treasury Department systems, including requirements analysis, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and production support, STP, and credit limits.
• Collaborate with team members to identify automation opportunities to improve workflow.
• Contribute to ADB-wide IT projects such as business continuity and IT security.
• Provide daily functional support of applications, including data interfaces with market data providers, and troubleshoot issues.

Job description

The Associate Treasury Officer provides analytical, programming, and business intelligence reporting support to develop and integrate treasury applications. The role supports system improvements, strengthens analytical capacity, and ensures smooth implementation of treasury IT systems at ADB Headquarters in Manila.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Treasury applications to support business operations and strategic initiatives, including system integrations.
• Provide end-to-end product lifecycle support for Treasury Department systems, including requirements analysis, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and production support, STP, and credit limits.
• Collaborate with other team members to understand how automation can improve workflow and propose ideas and solutions.
• Contribute to ADB-wide projects such as business continuity, IT Security, and other IT projects.
• Provide daily functional support of the applications including data interfaces with the market data provider systems and troubleshoot issues and propose solutions.
• Develop financial models covering debt allocation, transfer pricing, cost of carry, liability management, and investment portfolio performance.
• Develop Asset and Liability Management dashboard reports using business intelligence reporting tools.
• Support in the model validation tests covering data, assumptions, and algorithm.
• Support in the preparation of the functional specifications for systems development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, banking, finance or related field.
• At least 5 years IT work experience in international banking operations, practices, and systems implementation; exposure to investment or borrowing operations.
• Experience with relational database, such as Oracle and SQL Server, Microsoft ODBC, and Microsoft ActiveX Data Object.
• Experience in C++ or C# and Python.
• Experience of treasury core applications at functional levels.
• Sound knowledge of treasury operations covering areas such as financial markets, pricing of derivative instruments, market data, and trade life cycle.
• Experience working with data management and business intelligence reporting tools such as Power BI and Tableau an advantage.
• Written and verbal proficiency in English.
