Job summary

Upper Echelon Products in the Philippines is seeking an Associate, Technical Copywriter to support our Technical Writer by crafting and optimizing Amazon product listings, bullet points, and descriptions.

You will focus on Amazon e-commerce copywriting, SEO, and maintaining high-performing listings across our growing catalog. Collaboration with the Jr. Technical Writer, adhering to Amazon guidelines and driving conversions.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are looking for a highly skilled Associate, Technical Copywriter to support our Technical Writer / Copywriter by creating and optimizing product listings, bullet points, descriptions, and supporting marketing copy for Amazon.

This role is heavily focused on Amazon e-commerce copywriting, SEO optimization, and helping maintain high-performing product listings across our growing catalog. You will work closely with the Jr. Technical Writer to ensure all content is on-brand, SEO-optimized, compliant with Amazon guidelines, and designed to drive conversions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Content Creation & Optimization:

• Write clear, persuasive, and benefit-driven Amazon product titles, bullet points, and descriptions
• Optimize existing listings for better search rankings and conversion rates
• Perform keyword research using tools like Helium 10, Jungle Scout, or similar
• Conduct competitive analysis to identify content gaps and improvement opportunities
• Update and refresh underperforming listings as directed

Supporting Technical & Marketing Content:

• Assist in drafting product care instructions, how-to guides, and simplified user manuals
• Create supporting copy for A+ Content, packaging, and promotional materials
• Help maintain brand voice and consistency across all product lines

Research & Quality Control:

• Research product features and translate technical details into easy-to-understand, customer-friendly language
• Ensure all copy meets Amazon's style guidelines and policies
• Proofread and edit content for grammar, accuracy, and clarity
• Track and report on listing performance metrics when requested
• Work closely with the Technical Writer / Copywriter and follow their direction on priorities and revisions
• Communicate effectively in a remote, fast-paced environment
• Meet tight deadlines and manage multiple products simultaneously

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on Amazon copywriting experience (essential)
• Proven experience writing product listings for Amazon Seller Central
• Strong portfolio showcasing Amazon product titles, bullet points, and descriptions (required)
• Experience with Amazon keyword research and optimization tools (Helium 10, Jungle Scout, Cerebro, etc.)

Skills:

• Excellent English writing and editing skills with a strong understanding of persuasive e-commerce copy
• Ability to write benefit-focused, SEO-optimized copy that converts
• Familiarity with Amazon listing best practices and A+ Content guidelines
• Detail-oriented with strong proofreading and organizational skills
• Comfortable working independently in a remote setting

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting a senior copywriter
• Background in consumer goods, home, outdoor, pet, or kitchen categories (a plus)
• Basic understanding of technical writing or creating user manuals/instructions
