Job summary

Appficiency Inc. is seeking an Associate Principal to drive enterprise value, lead pre-sales, and shape firm-wide strategy across high-visibility client relationships.

You will own a significant book of business, mentor senior staff, and oversee complex NetSuite implementations. You will align client pain points with NetSuite solutions, manage multi-project delivery, and contribute to practice development with senior executives.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years in a professional services, functional, or technical consulting role, preferably ERP/CRM/e-commerce
• Experience managing SaaS/IT or business model implementations (distribution, manufacturing, retail)
• MBA or equivalent work experience
• Experience on the NetSuite platform is highly recommended
• Proven track record of profitable, referenceable customer relationships
• Strategic thinking aligning client pain points to solutions
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Analytical and problem-solving skills

The Opportunity

As an Associate Principal, you will operate as a top-tier strategic leader within the practice — driving enterprise value well beyond individual engagements, shaping firm-wide strategy, and serving as the ultimate escalation point across the most complex, high-visibility client relationships. You will own a significant book of business, lead pre-sales and solution strategy for the firm's most sophisticated opportunities, and directly mentor Associate Directors and senior consultants. Your impact extends across the organization — influencing process, methodology, talent development, and Appficiency's market position.

What You'll Do

• Create new enterprise value beyond predetermined or assigned job functions
• Lead demo and pre-sales efforts for Appficiency solutions and products
• Conduct complete requirements, design, and delivery across multiple verticals, applications, and integrations
• Ensure Appficiency principles and procedures are followed across all projects
• Ensure productive communication across projects internally
• Maintain a strong, referenceable client base by anticipating, mitigating, and managing client issues
• Mentor and train consultants
• Provide oversight for implementation projects
• Simultaneously manage 6+ client projects/engagements
• Create one micro-vertical implementation drop-in bundle
• Maintain a minimum of 10-15 successful, referenceable implementations, including complex implementations
• Assign project teams to new projects based on skill set, availability, and capacity
• Review project allocations, team capacity, and billable hours for accuracy, updating as needed for GDL review
• Identify and drive process improvements and SBC skill development across staff
• Define and drive broader process improvements
• Engage comfortably and regularly with senior executives
• Work closely with Appficiency leaders to deliver client projects
• Work directly with customers to understand, validate, and document business requirements, mapping them to NetSuite functionality

What You'll Bring

• 5-8 years in a professional services, functional, or technical consulting role, preferably in ERP, CRM, or e-commerce

• MBA or equivalent work experience
• Experience on the NetSuite platform is highly recommended
• Proven track record of developing and maintaining profitable, referenceable customer relationships
• Ability to think strategically and align client business pain points to solution options and implementation approach
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and manage changing priorities
• Familiarity with cloud computing technologies
• Willingness to travel to client locations as needed
