Appficiency Inc. seeks an Associate Principal to drive enterprise value and shape firm-wide strategy. You will lead pre-sales, design solutions, and mentor senior staff across multiple client engagements.

As a top-tier consultant, you will engage with executives, manage complex NetSuite implementations, and influence process improvements while expanding the firm's market position. This role requires travel to client locations as needed.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in professional services or consulting, ERP/CRM/e‑commerce.
• Experience managing SaaS/IT implementations (e.g., distribution, manufacturing).
• MBA or equivalent work experience.
• Experience on the NetSuite platform is highly recommended.
• Proven track record of profitable, referenceable customer relationships.
• Ability to think strategically and align pain points to solutions.

The Opportunity

As an Associate Principal, you will operate as a top-tier strategic leader within the practice — driving enterprise value well beyond individual engagements, shaping firm-wide strategy, and serving as the ultimate escalation point across the most complex, high-visibility client relationships. You will own a significant book of business, lead pre-sales and solution strategy for the firm's most sophisticated opportunities, and directly mentor Associate Directors and senior consultants. Your impact extends across the organization — influencing process, methodology, talent development, and Appficiency's market position.

What You'll Do

• Create new enterprise value beyond predetermined or assigned job functions
• Lead demo and pre-sales efforts for Appficiency solutions and products
• Conduct complete requirements, design, and delivery across multiple verticals, applications, and integrations
• Ensure Appficiency principles and procedures are followed across all projects
• Ensure productive communication across projects internally
• Maintain a strong, referenceable client base by anticipating, mitigating, and managing client issues
• Mentor and train consultants
• Provide oversight for implementation projects
• Simultaneously manage 6+ client projects/engagements
• Create one micro-vertical implementation drop-in bundle
• Maintain a minimum of 10-15 successful, referenceable implementations, including complex implementations
• Assign project teams to new projects based on skill set, availability, and capacity
• Review project allocations, team capacity, and billable hours for accuracy, updating as needed for GDL review
• Identify and drive process improvements and SBC skill development across staff
• Define and drive broader process improvements
• Engage comfortably and regularly with senior executives
• Work closely with Appficiency leaders to deliver client projects
• Work directly with customers to understand, validate, and document business requirements, mapping them to NetSuite functionality

What You'll Bring

• 5-8 years in a professional services, functional, or technical consulting role, preferably in ERP, CRM, or e-commerce
• Experience managing SaaS, IT, or specific business model implementations (e.g., distribution, manufacturing, retail, media & advertising)
• MBA or equivalent work experience
• Experience on the NetSuite platform is highly recommended
• Proven track record of developing and maintaining profitable, referenceable customer relationships
• Ability to think strategically and align client business pain points to solution options and implementation approach
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and manage changing priorities
• Familiarity with cloud computing technologies
• Willingness to travel to client locations as needed
