Job summary

ams OSRAM in Laguna, Philippines invites an experienced Wafer Sort Engineering Lead to guide a technical team and drive KPI attainment.

You will partner with cross-functional groups to resolve complex test yield and quality issues, mentor staff, and streamline test processes for higher yield, uptime, and cost efficiency.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Electronics or Electrical Engineering, 10+ years in semiconductor manufacturing, and 1–3 years in leadership, with wafersort experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in semiconductor manufacturing, in a Test Product engineering role or equivalent.
• Experience supporting volume production for wafersort.
• 1–3 years in a leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage wafersort engineering team to meet KPI targets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve test yield and quality issues.
• Optimize test processes to improve yield, throughput, uptime, and test cost.
• Mentor and develop technician and engineering skills.
• Support audits with technical documentation.
• Implement data-driven methodologies to identify improvements and prevent escapes.

Profile description:

• Minimum of 10 Years Experience in Semiconductor Manufacturing in a Test Product engineering role or equivalent position
• With experience on supporting volume production for wafersort
• 1-3 years' experience in a leadership role
