Job summary

ams OSRAM’s LSP unit seeks an experienced Test Product Engineer to lead analysis and resolution of test yield issues, drive process improvements, and support NPIs. You will analyze test data, set standards, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating across manufacturing and quality teams.

With 7+ years in semiconductor test, you will handle Final Test and Wafer Sort, and leverage Digital/Mixed-Signal test methods. Lean Six Sigma knowledge is a plus; certification is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years experience in semiconductor manufacturing in a Test Product engineering role or equivalent.
• Experience with Final Test and Wafer Sort test processes.
• Knowledgeable in Digital and Mixed Signal test methodologies.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification is an advantage; 8D, FMEA knowledge is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Drive root-cause analysis and resolution of complex test yield and quality issues; optimize test processes to improve yield, throughput, uptime, and cost of test.
• Analyse test data and trends using data-driven methodologies to identify improvement opportunities and prevent escapes.
• Define and enforce test process standards, best practices, and documentation.
• Support NPI activities, including test readiness, characterization, correlation, and production ramp.
• Support customer and internal audits by providing technical expertise and documentation.
• Mentor and technically guide junior and mid-level engineers and act as a technical escalation point for critical manufacturing issues.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned.
