Manulife IT Delivery Center is seeking an Associate Salesforce Full-Stack Software Engineer. You will design, develop, test, maintain and improve software as part of an Agile squad, with opportunities to mentor interns and engineers.

Requirements include 1–3 years of Salesforce experience, strong understanding of core concepts, and Salesforce certifications. This hybrid role offers collaboration with global teams and exposure to cutting-edge technologies.

Qualifications

1–3 years as a Salesforce Developer or Salesforce full-stack engineer.
Strong Salesforce best practices, coding standards and governor limits.
Experience with core Salesforce objects, fields, relationships, and record types.
Expertise in declarative features: Workflow, Process Builder, Approvals, Validation Rules.
Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Aura, LWC, and REST/SOAP APIs.
Experience with HTML, CSS3, jQuery, XML, JSON; Git for version control.
Familiarity with Agile Scrum and security tool Fortify/WebInspect.

Responsibilities

Refactor code to improve reliability, performance, and maintainability.
Research, evaluate, and prototype emerging technologies.
Conduct a Proof of Technology to explore new tools.
Mentor interns and junior engineers within an Agile squad.
Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders in Agile setup.
Partner with other squads to deliver innovative solutions meeting business needs.
Establish best practices for development, testing, and delivery.

At Manulife IT Delivery Center, we arelooking for a rock star Associate Salesforce Full-Stack Software Engineer, who is excited to see the successful implementation of the products they deliver. You will haveexperience in designing, developing, testing, maintaining and improving software applications as a member of an Agile squad.

Position Responsibilities

Refactor existing code to improve reliability, performance, and maintainability.
Research, evaluate, and prototype emerging technologies.
Conduct a Proof of Technology to innovate and incorporate new technology.
Have opportunities to mentor intern students and associate engineers.
Collaborate closely with Product Owners and other stakeholders in an Agile environment.
Work closely with other squads to drive innovative solutions to meet business needs.
Work closely with software engineers to establish best practices for development, testing, and delivery.

Required Qualifications

1-3 years of experience as a Salesforce Developer or Salesforce full-stack software engineer
Clear understanding of Salesforce platform best practices, coding standards, design guidelines, and Salesforce Governor Limits
Expertise in Salesforce core concepts including objects, fields, relationships, and record types
Expertise in declarative Salesforce features such as Workflow, Process Builder, Approval Process, and Validation Rules
Expertise in Apex programming language including classes, triggers, and controllers
Expertise in Visualforce, Aura components, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and SOSLExperience with frontend and backend web technologies such as HTML, CSS3, jQuery, XML, and JSON
Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using REST, SOAP, and Bulk APIsExperience working in Agile Scrum methodologies as part of an Agile teamProficiency with Git or other version control systems
Salesforce Certified Administrator credential
Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I credential
Experience with Lightning Components including Aura and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
Knowledge of Fortify and WebInspect security tools
