Job summary

Manulife John Hancock is seeking a Salesforce Full-Stack Software Engineer to design, develop, test, maintain, and improve software applications as part of an Agile squad. You will refactor code, prototype new technologies, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating closely with Product Owners to deliver scalable solutions.

The ideal candidate has 4–7 years of Salesforce development experience, expertise across Apex, Visualforce, LWC, and declarative features, and strong REST/SOAP

Qualifications

• Minimum 4-7 years as Salesforce Developer or Salesforce full-stack software engineer.
• Understand Salesforce platform best practices, coding standards, design guidelines, and Governor Limits.
• Expertise in Salesforce core concepts including objects, fields, relationships, and record types.
• Expertise in declarative Salesforce features: Workflow, Process Builder, Approval Process, Validation Rules.
• Expertise in Apex programming language including classes, triggers, and controllers.
• Experience with frontend and backend web technologies: HTML, CSS3, jQuery, XML, JSON.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using REST, SOAP, and Bulk APIs.
• Experience working in Agile Scrum methodologies as part of an Agile team.
• Proficiency with Git or other version control systems.
• Salesforce Certified Administrator and Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I credentials.
• Experience with Lightning Components including Aura and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Knowledge of Fortify and WebInspect security tools.
