Job summary

Manulife/John Hancock is seeking an Associate Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team in a hybrid work environment. You will design, build, and maintain scalable .NET Core and C# applications, and contribute to RESTful services and APIs.

Position Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain robust and scalable software applications using .NET Core and C#. Design and implement RESTful services to support application functionalities and integrations. Collaborate with multi-functional teams to enhance features and resolve issues using Test Driven Development (TDD) methodologies. Integrate with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Docker, and SonarQube to streamline the development and deployment process. Apply project management tools like Jira and Confluence for effective planning and documentation.

Required Qualifications:

2-3 years Full Stack, with a strong emphasis on .NET technologies (ASP and C#), Javascript, MS SQL Server Proven experience of working with tools such as GitLab/GitHub, Jenkins, and Docker.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with frontend technologies like React, and familiarity with other frameworks such as Angular. Familiarity with automation tools such as Power Automate and Automation Anywhere 360. Knowledge of cloud services, particularly Pivotal Cloud Foundry and/or Azure, is a plus. Strong understanding of GraphQL and Relay for building efficient and scalable APIs.
