Job summary

PwC Philippines is seeking a Senior Associate to help clients identify key business and financial risks during acquisitions, divestments, and capital- raising activities. You will review contracts, perform trend analyses, and prepare concise reports with actionable recommendations to mitigate risks.

Responsibilities include preparing due diligence materials, researching investment opportunities, and mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• CPA credential required or in progress with eligibility confirmed.
• Minimum 2 years in M&A advisory or related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking capabilities.
• Keen attention to detail in fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

As a Senior Associate, you’ll help clients identify key business and financial risks in relation to the planned acquisition, divestment, capital raising and make recommendations to address such risks. Responsibilities for this level include but are not limited to:

• Understand industry trends and regulatory environment in which the target company operates
• Review key contract terms with customers, debtors, suppliers, shareholders and related parties
• Perform historical trending analysis to understand the underlying business drivers of the target company
• Use a broad range of tools and techniques to extract insights from current trends in the business area.
• Prepare report on key business and financial observations/findings and corresponding recommendations to mitigate or eliminate risks
• Prepare related documents such as presentation materials, due diligence lists, project briefs
• Conduct research on target clients, investment opportunities, and key industries
• Delegate to others to provide stretch opportunities and coach to help deliver results.
• Develop new ideas and propose innovative solutions to problems.
• Use a broad range of tools and techniques to extract insights from current trends in the business area.
• Review your work and that of others for quality, accuracy and relevance.

Requirements:

• Certified Public Accountant
• At least two (2) years of work experience in M&A advisory or any related field
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Keen attention to detail
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office applications
• Self-starter, willing to learn and can easily adapt in while working in a fast-paced environment
