Job summary

Pacific Alpha Intelligence in Cebu is seeking a focused researcher to help build and maintain client lists, identify key wealth managers, conferences, and institutional contacts across the Philippines and the region.

You will join meetings locally and on multi-week trips in Asia, working directly with the founder to understand macro trends and how AI shifts affect finance. Mandarin is a plus, not required. Travel may be necessary.

Qualifications

• Speak clear professional English required.
• Degree in Economics, Finance, or equivalent.
• Genuine interest in how AI and macro shifts affect finance.
• Willingness to travel across Asia for weeks at a time.

Pacific Alpha Intelligence is a small Asia-Pacific research and client-intelligence practice. We need one person in Cebu to help build the client side: wealth managers, conferences, and institutional names across the Philippines and the region — then join meetings locally and, later, on multi-week trips in Asia.

This is not a call-centre or BPO client-services job.

You will:

• Build and keep clean lists of wealth managers, family offices, conferences, and institutional contacts
• Research who matters and why
• Draft outreach and briefing notes
• Join meetings in Cebu, Manila, and later other Asian cities
• Work directly with the founder

You must:

• Speak clear professional English
• Have taken and understood macroeconomics (degree in Economics, Finance, or equivalent)
• Be genuinely interested in how AI and large macro shifts change finance — not “I use ChatGPT”
• Have a sharp, inquisitive mind and want to be early in that change
• Be willing to travel in Asia for weeks at a time

Mandarin is a plus, not required.
