Job summary

Western Union is seeking an Associate, AML Compliance (Know Your Customer) in Quezon City, Philippines. The role centers on interviewing customers by phone to assess AML knowledge and compliance when handling refund requests and calls.

You will conduct thorough reviews via phone and email, communicate outcomes to customers, Agents, and Service Associates, and follow up on cases to obtain required information.

Qualifications

• Anti-Money Laundering compliance background or customer service experience in related banking field
• Proficiency in English and Spanish language
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in financial services industry preferred
• Analytical, research, and attention to detail skills required

Responsibilities

• Make and receive customer calls to interview users of Western Union services
• Assess AML knowledge and compliance needs during refunds and calls
• Perform thorough reviews via phone and email and inform customers, agents and service associates of outcomes
• Follow up on cases previously reviewed by senior specialists to obtain required information
• During low-call periods, review customer information, validate documentation and complete related tasks
• Maintain high accuracy, professionalism, and customer service throughout interactions
