Job summary

Amanpulo, a private island resort in the Philippines, seeks an Assistant Spa Manager to support the Spa and Wellness Manager in running the full spa operation and ensuring guest satisfaction. You will supervise staff, manage revenue and SOPs, and respond to guest needs with professionalism.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, a Spa Manager license preferred, 3+ years spa experience, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Certificate Spa Manager License from Ministry of Public Health is an advantage.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Minimum 3 years’ proven spa experience.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as spa assistant with financial responsibilities and team size >15.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently manage the operation of the spa and wellness to meet guest needs.
• Assist Spa and Wellness Manager with assignments related to spa and wellness.
• Oversee facility operations, revenue management, SOPs, and guest satisfaction.
• Supervise day-to-day spa and wellness activities.
• Stay up-to-date on spa industry trends, guest satisfaction and competition.
• Act during the absence of Spa and Wellness Manager.
• Prepare periodic reports for senior management on spa activities.
• Present weekly and monthly reports on spa performance, activities and staff.
• Coach and support all team members and build an efficient team.
• Maintain standards of excellence in spa administration.
