Job summary

WHR Global Consulting in the Philippines is seeking an Assistant Retail Store Manager to support the Store Manager in daily operations, drive sales, and deliver a premium customer experience on the shop floor.

You will mentor Retail Sales Experts, assist with reporting, and ensure visual merchandising, inventory control, and policy compliance; when the Store Manager is away, you lead the store.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Excellent sales presentation skills and ability to build strong customer relationships.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; convey messages clearly.
• Team-oriented, service-minded attitude.
• Track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Motivated by challenges and collaborative in approach.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in inventory management and retail sales processes.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Flexible to work varied schedules, including weekends and holidays.
• Retail sales or customer service experience preferred.
• Experience with premium FMCG/retail brands is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in daily store operations to meet sales and operational objectives.
• Lead on the sales floor, guiding Retail Sales Experts and maintaining standards.
• Assist in store-level reporting and ensure partner program execution.
• In absence of Store Manager, assume full responsibility for store operations.
