Job summary

Mace in the Philippines is seeking a qualified engineer to provide technical support for mechanical building services and help deliver high-quality, safe projects. You will engage with clients, consultants, contractors and project teams to drive coordinated delivery and value-driven decisions.

Key responsibilities include reviewing mechanical designs, planning and commissioning plans, contributing to budget and programme reviews, and promoting sustainable outcomes aligned with net zero delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent engineering qualification.
• Experience delivering MEP projects in construction.
• Knowledge of design, commissioning, planning, quality, and safety principles.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for mechanical building services in line with project standards.
• Support programme delivery and project performance outcomes.
• Build effective client, consultant, contractor, and project team relationships.
• Contribute to contract, budget, programme, and commercial reviews.
• Review mechanical designs and commissioning plans for quality and efficiency.

You’ll Be Responsible For

• Provide technical support for mechanical building services, ensuring compliance with project standards and best practice.
• Support programme delivery, health, safety, wellbeing, quality, commissioning and project performance outcomes.
• Build effective relationships with clients, consultants, contractors and project teams to ensure coordinated delivery.
• Contribute to contract, budget, programme and commercial reviews, supporting value-driven project decisions.
• Review mechanical designs, delivery strategies and commissioning plans to promote quality, efficiency and sustainable outcomes.
• Proactively identify risks, share lessons learned and support Mace's commitment to net zero carbon delivery.

You’ll Need To Have

• Degree, HNC/HND, apprenticeship or equivalent engineering qualification.
• Experience delivering MEP projects within the construction sector.
• Knowledge of design, commissioning, planning, quality and health & safety principles.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and collaborative working skills.
