ASSISTANT MATERIAL PLANNER

Interiors Aeroservices Pte Ltd is an approved aircraft interiors maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) organisation serving airline customers in Singapore, the region and across the world.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and issue pick tickets for aircraft parts, raw materials and consumables based on work order and project requirements.
- Raise purchase orders for parts, raw materials and consumables required for work orders and projects.
- Source and obtain quotations from approved suppliers, comparing price, lead time and availability.
- Follow up with suppliers on order confirmations, delivery status and shipping documents.
- Monitor stock levels, re-order points and minimum/maximum quantities, and highlight shortages, long-lead and AOG items early.
- Verify incoming material against purchase orders and check that the required certifications are complete, together with Stores and Quality.
- Maintain accurate material records in the ERP/inventory system, including part numbers, batch numbers, shelf life and expiry dates.
- Support cycle counts, stock takes and the control of shelf-life, quarantined and obsolete items.
- Track material costs against job and project budgets and assist in reconciling supplier invoices and delivery orders.
- Maintain the approved supplier list and supporting documentation, and assist with supplier performance monitoring.
- Coordinate with Production, Planning, Stores and Finance on material availability and project progress.
- Prepare material status and purchasing reports for management.
Job Requirements & Qualifications
- NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering or a similar discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing, material planning, stores or inventory control; aviation, MRO or manufacturing background preferred.
- Experience in issuing pick tickets, raising purchase orders and dealing with suppliers.
- Proficient in office productivity software (spreadsheets and word processing) and familiar with an ERP or inventory system.
- Meticulous, well organised and able to work to tight turnaround times.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Able to work independently and as part of a small team.

Salary
SGD 2,500 – SGD 3,500 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
