Responsibilities

• Treasury duties: manage daily cash position, monitor bank loans, process payments, and oversee forex transactions.
• Payroll duties: prepare bi-monthly payroll for personnel and handle monthly remittances (SSS, Withholding tax, Pag-IBIG, Philhealth, etc.).
• Assist in monthly journal entries for Financial Statements and annual payroll Alpha listing for BIR.
• Other duties: prepare Tax Identification Number support and payroll savings accounts; prepare contribution certificates.

ROLE OVERVIEW

Responsible for daily banking transactions such as daily cash position, bank loans and payments, forex transactions, fund transfers. Prepares bi-monthly payroll of all personnel under confidential payroll.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Treasury:

• Prepares and updates daily cash position.

• Prepares and monitors schedule of various bank loans.

• Prepares payments for bank loans including interests.

• Monitors daily Forex rates and bank balances.

• Prepares monthly summary of Forex closing rates.

• Prepares fund transfers and debit notes.

• Allocates funds for checks scheduled for release.

Payroll:

• Prepares bi-monthly payroll for all personnel under confidential payroll.

• Prepares monthly insurance and government remittances such as:

  • SSS

  • Withholding tax

  • Pag-IBIG

  • Philhealth-Medicare

  • Employees’ personal insurances

• Prepares monthly journal entries needed for Financial Statement.

• Prepares annual payroll Alpha listing for Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR).

Others:

• Prepares employees’ annual Certificate of Compensation Payment/Tax Withheld.

• Assists new employees in securing their Tax identification Number (TIN) and in opening their payroll savings account.

• Prepares certificates of contributions; SSS, Pag-IBIG or Philhealth as per request of employees.
