Job summary

MR DIY Philippines is seeking a Treasury Staff (Cash Management) to ensure accurate cash management, timely payments to suppliers, banks and employees, and to support risk controls.

You will assist in maintaining treasury documentation, banking relations, and compliance with Internal Controls. Onsite in Marikina City, Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM; strong accounting knowledge and MS Office skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related business field.
• Minimum 2 years in Treasury Operations, Finance, or Accounting.
• Knowledge of treasury and banking applications.
• Proficient in accounting systems and MS Office.
• Good oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with timely and accurate payments to suppliers, banks and employees using cost-effective methods and support cash management, loans and banking relations.
• Ensure proper documentation, monitoring and backup of all treasury transactions.
• Safeguard important documents, bank passbooks, checks and related paperwork; maintain files.
• Assist in accurate payment processing and issue resolution.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls.
• Generate data for cash, loans and risk management.
• Prepare documentary requirements and liaise with banks on account management and facilities.
• Ensure compliance with Internal Controls, Audit and Business Continuity Plan.

Ensure the accuracy and timely handling of risk processes in scope such as but not limited to cash management, credit facilities, loans, and banking relations to meet financial commitments and requirements.

Contribute to ensuring that the Treasury team is adequate and functional.

Key Responsibilities

• This position reports directly to both the Treasury Supervisor and Treasury Officer, assisting with timely and accurate payments to suppliers, banks, and employees using cost-effective payment methods, as well as supporting proper cash management, loans management and banking relations.
• Ensure proper documentation, monitoring and back up of all Treasury related transactions.
• Ensure safekeeping of important corporate documents, bank passbooks, checks, checkbooks, and perform administrative activities such as maintaining files, records, and processing paperwork.
• Assist in accurate and timely payment processing and issue resolution.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Assist in generating data for proper cash, loans and risk management.
• Prepare documentary requirements and assist in liaising with banks on bank account management, credit facilities, and issue resolution.
• Ensure compliance with Internal Controls, Audit, and Business Continuity Plan.

Job Requirements

• Must have a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, Finance, or any business-related course.
• Should possess a minimum of 2 years in Treasury Operations, Finance, or Accounting related experience.
• Requires knowledge and experience of relevant Treasury and Banking applications.
• Must be proficient in Accounting Systems and Microsoft Office.
• Should have good oral and written communication skills.
• Willing to work onsite (Marikina City) from Mondays to Fridays from 9 AM to 6 PM
