Job summary

SM Prime Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant with CPA credentials to lead SAP and BPC consolidation activities at MOA Complex, Pasay City.

The role emphasizes maintaining master data, intercompany reconciliation, period close, and regulatory reporting, including SEC submissions.

You will coordinate with Investor Relations and prepare ad hoc reports for management and external auditors.

Qualifications

• Graduate of BS Accountancy.
• At least 5 years of related experience.
• With External Audit experience.
• Experience with Real Estate Company and Publicly-Listed Entities (PLC) is an advantage.
• Must be a Certified Public Accountant.
• Knowledgeable in the SAP-BPC Tool for Consolidation.
• In-depth experience with intercompany related party reconciliation and elimination.
• Knowledge in Consolidation and Statutory reporting and compliance.
• Familiarity with FPRS including updates.
• Candidates must be willing to work on-site at MOA Complex, Pasay City.

Responsibilities

• Oversees SAP period close, masterdata checks, and BPC data transfers.
• Completes quarterly reports for submission to SMIC and external auditors.
• Analyzes financial position of Consolidated Residential and Leisure Resorts & Residences.
• Assists in SEC submission of 20-IS and attachments.
• Coordinates with Investor Relations for Investor Kit preparation.
• Prepares various internal/external ad hoc reports as required.

Job description

• Leads in SAP and BPC maintenance and enhancement, reports automation and other ways to improve efficiency in consolidation of financial statements.
• Approves CHARM and RITA of SAP and BPC users for opening and closing of periods, review and creation of GL account and Group accounts, confirmation of segment assignment for new PCs and others.
• Handles the opening and closing of SAP period, checks completeness of masterdata, interco flat file and WTB flat file uploaded monthly/quarterly, timely launching of BPC comsolidation instance and completeness of SAP data transported to BPC (balance checking).
• Completes the quarterly RPT report of SMPH for submission to SMIC and the external auditors.
• Reviews, analyzes, and documents the financial position and performance of the Consolidated Residential and Leisure Resorts and Residences business unit, including comparison to prior year performance (Actual vs Actual) and projected performance (Actual vs Budget).
• Assists in the preparation and submission to SEC of 20-IS including its attachments.
• Leads in the coordination with Investor Relations Team in the preparation of Investor Kit for any Financial-related data.
• Prepares other related reports or ad hoc reports for internal or external purposes, as required. Assists in any other matters which may be assigned from time to time.
