Job summary

GOLDEN TOPPER INVESTMENTS INC. in Cebu City is seeking an Assistant Engineering Manager to supervise the engineering department and ensure the continuous, efficient operation of equipment, wastewater treatment facilities, electrical, HVAC, buildings and grounds.

You will lead a team, implement preventive maintenance programs, develop monthly work plans, source parts, monitor energy use, enforce safety rules and drive reliability while minimizing costs.

Qualifications

• College graduate in BS Electrical Engineering and BS Mechanical Engineering
• Licensed Electrical Engineer or with at least 5 years of experience in property management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Detail-oriented with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Strong customer service orientation

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains and implements monthly work plan activities for the Engineering Group
• Devices cost-effective preventive and corrective maintenance programs for all the equipment and facilities
• Implement Energy-conservation and cost-saving measures while monitoring utility consumption
• Ensures all needed tools, spare parts, equipment and operating supplies are defined, maintained and sourced out properly/timely to keep an appropriate inventory level and source are known/available
• Implements consistent housekeeping maintenance at all times and compliance to all safety rules and regulations that are appropriate for operating/monitoring/maintaining equipment and machinery
• Monitors and controls the cost of operating and maintaining equipment and treatment programs including finding ways to improve tools/equipment performance, utilization and manpower productivity
• Motivates and encourages subordinates towards continuous performance improvement, compliance to safety rules and regulations through coaching and direct supervision and performance appraisal/reviews
• Ensures all aspects of the Engineering Department's needs are covered in the preparation of the annual budget
• Ensures immediate response and closure of all customer concerns related to engineering
• And all other duties and responsibilities which are not limited to these that may be assigned to you by the management.

Job description

The Assistant Engineering Manager will supervise the engineering department and is responsible for the continuous and efficient operations of equipment and machinery, waste water treatment facility, electrical, air-conditioning, buildings, and grounds, including the execution of appropriate preventive maintenance programs and repair activities at minimum cost possible. S/he will be leading a team and keeping them intact in attaining goals.
