Job summary

Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) is seeking an Assistant Business Manager to oversee branch operations, ensure accurate service delivery, and align with regulatory standards.

The ABM will manage transaction processing, risk management, and customer service while leading branch staff and driving continuous improvement in control and efficiency. Responsibilities also include ensuring timely reconciliation, KYC compliance, and coordinating with other units to meet business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
• 3–5 years in branch banking operations.
• Experience in people management.

Responsibilities

• Approve branch transactions within authority limits and secure approvals for higher-value requests.
• Review OTC and auxiliary transactions (deposits, withdrawals, FX, remittances).
• Ensure KYC completeness and accurate customer records.
• Conduct branch risk assessments and address control gaps.
• Lead and coach branch staff; manage scheduling and performance reviews.
• Handle end-to-end customer service and resolve inquiries within target times.
