ASSITANT ACCOUNTING MANAGER

We’re looking for an Assistant Accounting Manager – Accounts Payable & Budget who can lead with precision, strengthen controls, and ensure operational cash discipline in a fast-scaling FMCG environment. Your Mission

Lead and optimize the end-to-end Accounts Payable and Budget Management processes while safeguarding the company’s financial health through disciplined cash management, accurate payables processing, and strong internal controls.
This role directly impacts DEG’s operational stability by ensuring timely payments, audit readiness, and maintaining a healthy minimum 3-month operating cash runway.

What You’ll Own:
  • Ensure 100% accurate and timely processing of payables
  • Manage and monitor company budgets and spending discipline
  • Safeguard a minimum 3-month operating cash runway through strong cash management practices
  • Maintain complete, audit-ready AP documentation and records
  • Drive compliance with financial controls, approval workflows, and company policies
  • Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Sales, Marketing, Warehouse, and Operations teams
  • Lead and supervise AP team members, ensuring accountability and performance
  • Manage vendor reconciliations, payment schedules, and issue resolution
  • Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and control
  • Support internal and external audits with zero major audit findings target
What We’re Looking For:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field: CPA, CMA, MBA, or CIA is highly preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 years of accounting experience, including audit exposure
  • At least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role; FMCG industry experience is a plus
  • Proficiency in NetSuite ERP
  • Strong understanding of AP processes, cash flow management, budgeting, and audit controls
  • Excellent analytical, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and execution discipline
