Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking an Asset Analyst to process income events, oversee reconciliations, and support accurate cash and position outcomes across markets. You will partner with internal teams and external counterparties to resolve breaks, drive timely resolution, and strengthen controls.

The role emphasizes re-engineering and automation support, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration to enhance resilience and service quality.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in asset servicing, income processing, corporate actions or related markets operations.
• Experience processing time-sensitive operational events with high accuracy and control discipline.
• Ability to investigate and resolve complex breaks using root-cause approaches.
• Experience partnering with multiple internal teams and external counterparties (clients, custodians, agents, depositories, service providers).
• Familiarity with data analysis/reporting tools (Alteryx/Tableau/Qlik) and/or SQL/SAS/Python.

Responsibilities

• Process pay-date income events (dividends, coupons, redemptions) and complete pre-event reconciliations for accurate P&L outcomes.
• Manage payable/receivable claims with timely responses and closures with counterparties.
• Reconcile cash, position, wash, suspense, and control account breaks and reduce items aged >30 days.
• Investigate exceptions and system/data feed issues; document root causes and ensure resolution.
• Serve as escalation point for stakeholders and clients with timely updates.
• Provide subject matter expertise and procedural guidance for owned processes.
• Identify process gaps and support remediation to strengthen controls and reduce risk.
• Support process re-engineering and automation initiatives to improve efficiency.
• Maintain up-to-date procedures and cross-train for resilience.
