Job summary

MGEN is seeking an Asset Management Program Officer to lead the APIP rollout across its three-wave structure in Pasig, Metro Manila. You will coordinate between the CTO organization and site Technical Services teams, drive milestones, and prepare governance artifacts for the Reliability Committee.

With 5–8 years in power, energy, or heavy industry, you will own end-to-end program mechanics, report to the COO/ELT, and help plan Waves 2 and 3 staffing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a technical discipline.
• 5–8 years of experience in power generation, energy, or heavy industrial environments with program or project coordination.
• Experience running or supporting a multi-site asset management or technical governance program is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with asset management frameworks (ISO 55000, PAS 55, or equivalent) is a strong advantage.
• Prior exposure to maintenance management systems, outage management, or reliability improvement programs is relevant.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end execution mechanics of the Asset Performance Improvement Plan: milestone tracking, wave sequencing, program documentation, and progress reporting to the COO.
• Prepare and manage Reliability Committee meeting agendas, pre-reads, decision logs, and action item tracking through to closure.
• Coordinate program activities between the CTO organization, site Technical Services Departments, and the Operational Excellence CoE.
• Maintain and update key program documents: APIP concept paper, governance standards, AMMA evaluation progress, and related artifacts.
• Monitor the AMMA supplier evaluation and implementation milestones, surfacing risks and decisions to the CTO.
• Chair the Reliability Committee in the CTO's absence, maintaining meeting quality and decision rigor.
• Produce regular APIP status reports for the COO LT and ELT, ensuring the program narrative remains current and accurate.
• Identify sequencing gaps, resource constraints, or risks and surface them with recommendations.

JOB SUMMARY:

Own the programmanagement mechanics of the MGEN Thermal Asset Management transformation —driving the execution of the Asset Performance Improvement Plan (APIP) acrossits three-wave structure, coordinating between the CTO organization and siteTechnical Services teams, and ensuring that the Reliability Committee andrelated governance forums function effectively. This role frees the CTO to leadthe technical function rather than administer the program.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Own the end-to-endexecution mechanics of the Asset Performance Improvement Plan: milestonetracking, wave sequencing, program documentation, and progress reporting to theCOO.


• Prepare and manageReliability Committee meeting agendas, pre-reads, decision logs, and actionitem tracking through to closure.


• Coordinate programactivities between the CTO organization, site Technical Services Departments(Cebu, Panay, SEC), and the Operational Excellence CoE.


• Maintain andupdate key program documents: APIP concept paper, MOH/PMS governance standards,AMMA evaluation progress, and related governance artifacts.


• Monitor the statusof the AMMA (Asset Management Maturity Assessment) supplier evaluation andimplementation milestones, surfacing risks and decisions to the CTO.


• Be capable ofchairing the Reliability Committee in the CTO's absence — maintaining meetingquality and decision rigor without the CTO present.


• Produce regularAPIP status reports for the COO LT and ELT, ensuring the program narrativeremains current and accurate.


• Identifysequencing gaps, resource constraints, or emerging program risks and surfacethem to the CTO with recommendations.


• Support the CTO inplanning the next phase of SME hiring as the program matures into Waves 2 and3.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degreein Engineering or a technical discipline. A postgraduate qualification in AssetManagement, Business Administration, or Project Management is an advantage.


• Minimum 5 to 8years of experience in a power generation, energy, or heavy industrialenvironment, in roles that combined technical understanding with program orproject coordination.


• Experience runningor supporting a multi-site asset management or technical governance program isstrongly preferred.


• Familiarity withasset management frameworks (ISO 55000, PAS 55, or equivalent) is a strongadvantage.


• Prior exposure tomaintenance management systems, outage management, or reliability improvementprograms is relevant.
