Hifly Illumination is seeking an Assembly & Production technician in the Philippines (Makati). The role focuses on assembling parts to spec, operating hand and power tools, and following daily production schedules to hit quotas.
You will inspect finished goods for quality, document output and materials, and maintain a clean, organized workstation. Safety rules, PPE use, and 5S practices are essential, with involvement in continuous improvement activities to boost efficiency.
Assemble parts, components, or sub-assemblies according to work instructions, blueprints, or diagrams.
Operate hand tools, power tools, or machines required for assembly.
Follow production schedules and met daily output or quota requirements.
Handle materials and components properly to prevent damage or contamination.
Inspect and verify the quality of finished products and report any defects or irregularities.
Follow standard quality procedures and ensure that assembled items meet company specifications.
Identify and report product issues to the line leader or quality inspector for corrective action.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation and tools.
Assist in setting up machines or equipment as instructed.
Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
Accurately record production output, materials used, and process information on production logs or forms.
Follow proper labeling, packaging, and documentation of finished goods.
Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Follow company safety rules and procedures at all times.
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Support and promote 5S and other housekeeping standards on the production floor.
Education:
At least High School Graduate, Senior High, Vocational, or Technical Course Graduate.
Experience:
Experience in production, assembly, or manufacturing is preferred but not always required (on-the-job training may be provided).
Knowledge & Skills:
Basic knowledge of hand tools, measuring instruments, and production processes.
Ability to follow work instructions and safety guidelines.
Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
Physically fit and able to stand or perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
Team-oriented, responsible, and punctual.
