Job summary

TRP, INC. is seeking an Engineering professional in Laguna, Philippines to plan, develop, validate and continuously improve assembly processes in line with IATF 16949. You will support mass production and new model development, ensuring quality, safety, takt time, and cost targets.

You will lead APQP activities, create process maps and line layouts, perform time/motion studies, and develop QCPCs and FMEA to optimize production efficiency. Proficiency with CAD tools and PLCs is preferred.

Qualifications

• APQP involvement for new assembly models and design reviews
• Prepare Process Examination Sheets to establish cycle times and manpower allocation
• Conduct time and motion studies to establish standard man-hours and balance lines
• Create Kozaku-zu Work Process Sheets with detailed process drawings
• Develop QCPC/Control Plans to monitor process characteristics and corrective actions
• Perform FMEA to mitigate potential failures in assembly operations
• Analyze Process Performance Index (Ppk) data for process capability
• Support Pokayoke, Kaizen and line-improvement initiatives
• Ensure equipment is available and maintained for production runs

Responsibilities

• Part of APQP for new models and securing top management approval of line concepts
• Develop and maintain Process Flow Charts and Line Layouts
• Prepare Process Examination Sheets for cycle times and manpower
• Conduct time and motion studies to set standard hours
• Create Kozaku-zu Work Process Sheets with all critical details
• Establish QCPC or Control Plans to monitor characteristics
• Perform FMEA to identify and mitigate failures
• Analyze Ppk data to evaluate process capability
• Support pokayoke and Kaizen line improvements
• Ensure equipment availability and readiness for new model training and trials
