Job summary

Eastman Industrial Supply Inc. is seeking an Assembly Manager to lead service centers across key locations. You will drive operational excellence, ensure quality and safety, and implement continuous improvement initiatives aligned with company goals.

You will oversee manpower development, facility operations, and rehabilitation of pumps and motors, coordinating with Engineering, Procurement, Warehouse, QA/QC, and Sales to achieve profitability and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in assembly, repair, or service operations.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory/managerial capacity handling mechanical and electrical assembly or service centers.
• Experience in pump and motor rehabilitation is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the setup, development, and management of assembly and service centers in Makati, Cebu, and Sta. Rosa.
• Establish and monitor KPIs to measure productivity, cost-effectiveness, and service quality.
• Oversee rehabilitation processes for pumps and motors to ensure high performance and quality.
• Manage and mentor Assembly Supervisors and technical teams to achieve operational excellence.
• Implement Lean and Kaizen initiatives to streamline workflows and eliminate inefficiencies.
• Oversee QA/QC protocols and ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, Warehouse, QA/QC, and Sales for smooth project execution.

Job Summary: As an Assembly Manager, you will lead, manage, and continuously enhance Assembly and Service Center operations across all locations. You will be responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring product quality, safety, and efficiency, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives that align with the company’s goals.

This role oversees manpower development, facility operations, and the rehabilitation of pumps and motors, ensuring that every service center delivers consistent, high-quality output. You will also collaborate closely with various departments to synchronize operations, uphold compliance, and achieve profitability and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Service Center Management & Operations

• Lead the setup, development, and management of assembly and service centers in Makati, Cebu, and Sta. Rosa.
• Ensure operational readiness, efficiency, and safety compliance of all facilities.
• Establish and monitor KPIs to measure productivity, cost-effectiveness, and service quality.
• Oversee rehabilitation processes for pumps and motors, ensuring restored units meet high performance and quality standards.

Manpower Leadership & Development

• Manage and mentor Assembly Supervisors and technical teams to achieve operational excellence.
• Set performance goals, monitor progress, and drive team engagement and accountability.
• Oversee manpower allocation and ensure optimal deployment across multiple locations.
• Promote a strong culture of safety, discipline, and teamwork in all operations.

Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement

• Implement Lean and Kaizen initiatives to streamline workflows and eliminate inefficiencies.
• Drive innovation through improved assembly methods, tools, and process designs.
• Conduct audits to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Recommend and implement best practices for consistent productivity improvements.

Quality Assurance & Compliance

• Oversee QA/QC protocols for all assembly and rehabilitation projects.
• Approve inspection and testing procedures to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Manage non-conformance reports and initiate corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain alignment with ISO, EHS, and company quality standards.

Cross-Department Coordination & Reporting

• Collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, Warehouse, QA/QC, and Sales teams for smooth project execution.
• Consolidate reports from all service centers covering performance, output, and efficiency.
• Monitor inventory, tools, and equipment maintenance schedules.
• Participate in management meetings to align assembly operations with strategic business goals.

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or any related technical field.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in assembly, repair, or service operations.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity handling mechanical and electrical assembly or service centers.
• Experience in pump and motor rehabilitation is highly desirable.
