Overview
As an Assembly Manager, you will lead, manage, and continuously enhance Assembly and Service Center operations across all locations. You will be responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring product quality, safety, and efficiency, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives that align with the company’s goals.
This role oversees manpower development, facility operations, and the rehabilitation of pumps and motors, ensuring that every service center delivers consistent, high-quality output. You will also collaborate closely with various departments to synchronize operations, uphold compliance, and achieve profitability and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Service Center Management & Operations: Lead the setup, development, and management of assembly and service centers in Makati, Cebu, and Sta. Rosa.
- Operational Readiness, Efficiency & Safety: Ensure operational readiness, efficiency, and safety compliance of all facilities.
- Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor KPIs to measure productivity, cost-effectiveness, and service quality.
- Rehabilitation of Pumps & Motors: Oversee rehabilitation processes for pumps and motors, ensuring restored units meet high performance and quality standards.
- Manpower Leadership & Development: Manage and mentor Assembly Supervisors and technical teams to achieve operational excellence.
- Performance Management: Set performance goals, monitor progress, and drive team engagement and accountability.
- Resource Allocation: Oversee manpower allocation and ensure optimal deployment across multiple locations.
- Safety & Culture: Promote a strong culture of safety, discipline, and teamwork in all operations.
- Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement: Implement Lean and Kaizen initiatives to streamline workflows and eliminate inefficiencies.
- Innovation & Process Design: Drive innovation through improved assembly methods, tools, and process designs.
- Quality Assurance Audits: Conduct audits to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Best Practices: Recommend and implement best practices for consistent productivity improvements.
- Quality & Compliance: Oversee QA/QC protocols for all assembly and rehabilitation projects.
- Inspection & Testing: Approve inspection and testing procedures to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Non-Conformance & CAPA: Manage non-conformance reports and initiate corrective and preventive actions.
- Standards Alignment: Maintain alignment with ISO, EHS, and company quality standards.
- Cross-Department Collaboration & Reporting: Collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, Warehouse, QA/QC, and Sales teams for smooth project execution.
- Reporting & Analytics: Consolidate reports from all service centers covering performance, output, and efficiency.
- Inventory & Maintenance: Monitor inventory, tools, and equipment maintenance schedules.
- Strategic Alignment: Participate in management meetings to align assembly operations with strategic business goals.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or any related technical field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in assembly, repair, or service operations.
- Supervisory Experience: At least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity handling mechanical and electrical assembly or service centers.
- Desirable: Experience in pump and motor rehabilitation is highly desirable.

Technical & Operational: In-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical assembly processes; skilled in troubleshooting, quality control, and process improvement methodologies; knowledge of Lean, Kaizen, or 5S; proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with ERP or maintenance management systems.
