Manulife is seeking a Manager to lead the Balance Sheet Substantiation Initiative across Asia, driving standardized reconciliation, substantiation, ownership, and review practices. Qualifikationen

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related discipline.
• Minimum of five years of relevant experience in financial accounting, balance sheet reconciliation, controllership, financial governance, audit, or finance transformation within a regional or global organization.
• Strong understanding of general ledger processes, account reconciliation, substantiation standards, financial controls, and remediation of aged or unsupported balances.
• Demonstrated project management capability across cross-functional dependencies, risks, timelines, and senior stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including executive-level updates and governance discussions.
• Willing to report by day shift and to report in Diliman, Quezon City.

Aufgaben

• Lead end-to-end execution of the Balance Sheet Substantiation Initiative across Asia markets, planning, prioritization, milestones, issue resolution, and reporting.
• Drive delivery for the Philippines and Hong Kong and roll out roadmap to remaining Asia markets.
• Establish standardized requirements for reconciliation, substantiation, ownership, and evidence retention; drive remediation and control improvements.
• Design and improve regional substantiation framework, templates, procedures, and service expectations; assess and optimize clearing and tracking practices.
• Partner with technology to improve system configuration, data visibility, and automation; reduce key-person dependency.
