Job summary

WHR Global Consulting in Davao is seeking an Area Sales Manager to oversee multiple store locations. The role focuses on guiding Store Managers, achieving sales targets, and upholding brand standards in a field-based, on-site setting.

You will lead teams, monitor operations, analyze sales data, collaborate with Marketing, Operations, HR, and Finance, and travel regularly to assigned stores to drive growth and customer experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or equivalent.
• 3–5 years in area or field sales management, preferably retail or FMCG.
• Experience managing multiple store locations and people.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.
• Strong sales presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; inventory and retail processes knowledge.
• Willing to work weekends/holidays; field-based travel.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support Store Managers across assigned Davao locations to achieve sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction targets.
• Conduct regular store visits to monitor operations, sales performance, compliance with company standards, and visual merchandising guidelines.
• Analyze sales reports, identify trends, and develop action plans to improve performance and maximize revenue.
• Ensure proper inventory management, including stock accuracy, product availability, and shrinkage control.
• Lead and motivate store teams by setting clear objectives, providing coaching, and conducting performance evaluations.
• Oversee implementation of sales and promotional strategies across all stores in the area.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and brand standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Operations, HR, and Finance) to support business initiatives.
• Handle customer escalations and ensure excellent service delivery.
• Prepare and present periodic sales reports, forecasts, and area performance analyses to management.
• Foster a positive and high-performance culture across all stores.
