The Area Manager is responsible for the overall performance and growth of the assigned area. This role provides guidance, leadership, and support to employees, ensuring they achieve their goals. The Area Manager reviews and evaluates the success of plans and strategies, oversees resource allocation, and ensures operational excellence across the area.
Plan staffing levels and collaborate with Human Resources to recruit, interview, hire, and onboard employees as needed.
Provide oversight and direction to employees in the area in accordance with company policies and procedures; approve high-value transactions.
Coach, mentor, and develop staff, including new employee onboarding.
Foster a strong customer service culture aligned with company values.
Deliver effective performance feedback through recognition, rewards, and, if necessary, disciplinary action with HR support.
Manage preparation and maintenance of reports to track performance and strategic goals.
Communicate regularly with other managers and key organizational contacts.
Establish and maintain control systems and feedback mechanisms to monitor operations and minimize risks and losses.
