Primary Group of Builders is seeking an experienced Supervisor for the Architecture Department in Cebu City, Philippines. The role focuses on overseeing daily operations, guiding project execution, and delivering architectural concepts aligned with client requirements and company standards.

The candidate will mentor Project Architects, manage workloads, and ensure compliance with codes and procedures while driving continuous improvement across the BU.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in architecture, design, and project supervision.
• Licensed/Registered Architect with strong professional expertise.
• Proven experience in design planning, project delivery, and construction management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and oversee project execution.
• Strong understanding of technical standards, construction processes, and project coordination.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Department Manager in planning, organizing, and supervising the daily operations of the Architecture Department.
• Support BU/departmental objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards.
• Supervise, mentor, and provide technical guidance to Project Architects and Architectural Staff.
• Monitor team workload, attendance, productivity, and performance with coaching and feedback.
• Develop and present architectural design concepts for preliminary projects based on client requirements and standards.
• Ensure design concepts are innovative, functional, cost-effective, and compliant with codes.
• Review and approve architectural drawings, documents, specs, and deliverables before implementation.
• Meet with clients to discuss project requirements, present concepts, address concerns, and provide recommendations.
• Ensure all work complies with building codes, standards, regulations, and specifications.
• Maintain accurate project documentation including revisions, minutes, correspondence, and records.

About the role

Assists the Department Manager in overseeing the daily operations, project workflows, and technical execution of the Architecture Department. The role provides leadership and guidance to Project Architects and Architectural Staff, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within quality standards, and in alignment with company objectives. The Supervisor is responsible for developing architectural design concepts for preliminary projects, coordinating with clients and management, mentoring team members, and supporting the Department Manager in achieving BU/department goals and continuous operational improvement.

Key responsibilities
