Job summary

GoTeam in Cebu City is seeking an experienced architectural designer to own end-to-end design production and multidisciplinary coordination for international projects. You will manage drawings, CAD packages, and high-quality renderings, guiding junior designers while ensuring compliance with NZ building code and council submissions.

You will lead design coordination across multiple concurrent projects, leverage AI for research, and collaborate with offshore teams for AU/NZ/UK/US clients.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in architectural drafting, CAD, 3D rendering, and design coordination within a design and build environment.
• Hands-on responsibility for producing architectural drawings, CAD documentation, high-quality 3D renderings, and council submission packages.
• Working knowledge of building code and council/consent submission processes (NZ building code exposure is a strong plus).
• Strong proficiency in CAD software, 3D tools, and AI technologies utilized for building research and design workflow optimization.

Cebu City | Onsite (IT Park) | Day Shift (6:00 AM–3:00 PM) | Monday–Friday

You own end-to-end design production and multidisciplinary coordination for international architectural projects, ensuring drawing accuracy, regulatory compliance, and seamless project delivery from concept through to council submission. Within defined project scopes, you liaise with the client's internal teams, contractors, and consultants to keep design intent consistent from concept through to council approval, while guiding junior designers as needed.

This is not a purely drafting role. You're trusted to lead design coordination across multiple projects at once, apply New Zealand building code knowledge to real submissions, and use AI tools to speed up research and daily workflow. Best suited for design professionals who are self-directed, detail-obsessed, and comfortable owning a process end-to-end rather than waiting for direction.

YOU'RE LIKELY A STRONG FIT IF YOU HAVE

• 5+ years of experience in architectural drafting, CAD, 3D rendering, and design coordination within a design and build environment
• Hands-on responsibility for producing architectural drawings, CAD documentation, high-quality 3D renderings, and council submission packages
• Working knowledge of building code and council/consent submission processes (New Zealand building code exposure is a strong plus)
• Strong proficiency in CAD software, 3D tools, and AI technologies utilized for building research and design workflow optimization
• Degree or diploma in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Design, or a related field
• Senior or leadership-level experience managing and coordinating across multiple concurrent projects
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Willingness to work onsite in Cebu IT Park on a 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM shift

STRONG SIGNALS

• Prior direct experience with New Zealand or Australian building codes and council consent submissions
• Background supporting an offshore/BPO design team for an international (AU/NZ/UK/US) client
• Formal qualification in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Design, or a related field
