GoTeam in Cebu City is seeking an Architectural Designer/Design Coordinator to manage end-to-end design production for international projects, ensuring drawing accuracy and council submission readiness from concept through to approval.
You will lead design coordination across multiple projects, apply New Zealand building code knowledge, and leverage AI tools to speed up research and daily workflow while mentoring junior designers.
Architectural Designer/Design Coordinator (PHP45K–PHP70K | Onsite | FREE AI Certification)
Cebu City | Onsite (IT Park) | Day Shift (6:00 AM–3:00 PM) | Monday–Friday
You own end-to-end design production and multidisciplinary coordination for international architectural projects, ensuring drawing accuracy, regulatory compliance, and seamless project delivery from concept through to council submission. Within defined project scopes, you liaise with the client's internal teams, contractors, and consultants to keep design intent consistent from concept through to council approval, while guiding junior designers as needed.
This is not a purely drafting role. You're trusted to lead design coordination across multiple projects at once, apply New Zealand building code knowledge to real submissions, and use AI tools to speed up research and daily workflow. Best suited for design professionals who are self-directed, detail-obsessed, and comfortable owning a process end-to-end rather than waiting for direction.
5+ years of experience in architectural drafting, CAD, 3D rendering, and design coordination within a design and build environment
Hands-on responsibility for producing architectural drawings, CAD documentation, high-quality 3D renderings, and council submission packages
Working knowledge of building code and council/consent submission processes (New Zealand building code exposure is a strong plus)
Strong proficiency in CAD software, 3D tools, and AI technologies utilized for building research and design workflow optimization
Prior direct experience with New Zealand or Australian building codes and council consent submissions
Background supporting an offshore/BPO design team for an international (AU/NZ/UK/US) client
Formal qualification in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Design, or a related field
You own the accuracy and quality of every drawing and rendering that leaves your desk, from first concept to client-ready presentation.
Produce architectural drawings, CAD documentation, and high-quality 3D renderings for design and build projects
Prepare and present design concepts and visual materials for internal and client review
Ensure design outputs are accurate, detailed, and aligned with project requirements
You keep design intent intact across the full project lifecycle, translating scattered inputs into one coordinated plan.
Lead design coordination across projects, managing workflows, timelines, and deliverables
Liaise with internal teams, contractors, and consultants to maintain design intent throughout delivery
Direct and guide junior design team members where required
You carry accountability for every submission meeting New Zealand's regulatory bar before it reaches council.
Research and apply New Zealand building code regulations relevant to each project
Prepare and compile documentation and submissions for council consent and approval processes
Maintain accurate, organised project records and design files
You treat AI tools as core infrastructure, not an experiment, to keep design output fast and current.
Apply AI tools to research building code requirements and streamline design workflows
Track and integrate emerging AI and design technologies relevant to architecture and construction
