Job Description

Jackstones Properties Inc. is searching for a Project-Based Architect (QA/QC Focus). A detail-oriented and highly analytical Project-Based Architect with a specialized background in Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC). In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all architectural designs, materials, and on-site construction activities align perfectly with approved plans, corporate standards, and building codes. You will serve as the gatekeeper of design integrity and execution quality, minimizing errors, rework, and material waste across our development projects.

Core Responsibilities

Quality Assurance & Design Review (Pre-Construction)

• Review working drawings, architectural plans, and technical specifications to identify potential design conflicts, discrepancies, or buildability issues before construction begins.
• Establish and implement standardized QA checklists for architectural design phases.
• Ensure all architectural outputs comply with national building codes, local zoning laws, and company design standards.
• Collaborate with engineering teams (Structural, MEPFS) to ensure seamless cross-disciplinary design integration.

Quality Control & Site Inspection (Construction Phase)

• Conduct regular on-site inspections to verify that architectural works are being executed in strict accordance with approved construction drawings and specifications.
• Implement strict QC protocols for structural finishes, masonry, waterproofing, fenestration, and interior fit-outs.
• Issue non-conformance reports (NCRs) when workmanship or materials fail to meet standards, and monitor the implementation of corrective actions.
• Lead the final punch-listing process and manage the rectification of defects before project turnover.

Job Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture.
• License: Registered and Licensed Architect (RLA).
• Experience: Minimum of 1–3 years of progressive experience in architectural design and site supervision, with at least 2 years dedicated to a QA/QC role in real estate development or vertical construction projects.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software to thoroughly review and audit plans.
• Deep understanding of construction methodologies, finishing works, and material performance standards.
• Strong familiarity with building codes, health and safety regulations (such as OSH standards), and quality management systems (ISO 9001 knowledge is a plus).

Willing to work in Quezon City and able to start ASAp
